Orientation Guide: The First 100 Days
We are committed to providing you with information that introduces Thompson Rivers University and the many complex systems and processes that will make your "First 100 Days" just a bit smoother.
The "First 100 Days" provides an individualized and systematic approach to learning about Thompson Rivers University’s strategic priorities, people practices, structures, and systems.
Employee Welcome Sessions
This fun, interactive half-day session provides new employees with valuable insight and information on TRU, its history, strategic priorities, people practices and systems. The session is formatted in a series of short presentations from key individuals, including the University’s President, the Health & Safety Manager, union representatives and many others.
Orientation sessions are scheduled in the Fall and Winter semesters. New employees will receive an invite via email with session date, time and registration information. Sessions include refreshments and lunch.
