DUTIES:
The University Preparation Department at Thompson Rivers University invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer to the following course:
· PHYS 0500 - Introduction to Physics 1
PHYS 0500 examines the basic principles upon which the discipline of physics is founded. In doing so, it provides students with a new perspective from which to view the world around them and with a solid content basis for future courses in physics should this be the objective. The course is oriented toward developing experimental and problem solving skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Master’s degree in a relevant field
· Teaching Certificate or Instructor Diploma
· Experience teaching adults
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: January 7, 2013 to April 27, 2013
REVIEW DATE FOR APPLICATIONS: Applications will be reviewed commencing December 11, 2012, and may continue until position is filled.
