Sessional - Lecturer - Geography


DUTIES:

The Department of Geography at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, British Columbia, invites applications for sessional lecturer positions in physical geography.

The successful candidates will be responsible for lectures and/or labs in physical geography that may include the following courses:

Winter 2013:

GEOG 1120 Earth's Lands and Waters - Lecture

GEOG 1120 Earth's Lands and Waters - Three Labs

GEOG 1220 Biogeography and Climatology – Lecture

GEOG 1220 Biogeography and Climatology – Three Labs

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Ph.D. in Physical Geography or related field for Lecture positions

· For those applying only for lab instruction, an M.Sc. in Physical Geography or closely related discipline is required

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: January 7, 2013 to April 27, 2013

REVIEW DATE FOR APPLICATIONS: Applications will be reviewed commencing November 16, 2012, and may continue until positions are filled.
