TRU has 25,000 students learning throughout our campuses in Kamloops; Williams Lake and regional centres; and online through our Open Learning division. We are the chosen workplace for approximately 1,100 employees.

TRU is committed to helping our employees and students achieve a healthy work-life balance by offering mental health services through ourWellness Centre. We encourage all of our employees to stay active and offer intramural programs and free fitness classes through our Recreation Department. Employees and their families also receive a discount on annual gym passes at theTournament Capital Centre on campus.
Environment & Sustainability
TRU has been a carbon neutral organization since 2010. We are proud to continue our environmental commitment and hope to reduce our energy consumption by 25% of 2010 figures by 2016. This will be achieved through sustainability programs and initiatives run by our Office of Environment & Sustainability. As of 2015, we are well on our way to achieving our goal!
