Off Campus Housing Registry Disclaimer

In an effort to improve Thompson Rivers University (TRU) housing services, we now provide students access to accommodation web listings from lessors in the Kamloops area to aid in securing off-campus housing. 

This is a free service. There is no cost to become a user or to post listings.

Our objective is to make it easier and stress free for TRU students to find the link to lessors, therefore securing off campus housing. "Off campus housing" refers to any housing not owned and/or operated by the Thompson Rivers University. The website's sole intention is providing TRU students accessible information on available off campus housing. Students and lessors must make any rental arrangements independently from the TRU website.

The listings are not endorsed in any way by Thompson Rivers University, On Campus Residence or Events and Catering. Thompson Rivers University makes no representations, guarantees, or promises with respect to the quality or safety of the rental properties. This responsibility is left for students and lessors to manage personally.

It is highly recommended the renter personally examine the rental property to ensure it meets their living standards, and carefully read any rental contract to ensure they fully understand all liabilities before signing.

The purpose of our Off Campus Application Form is strictly for uploading rental information to the Off Campus Housing site, and is not a property assessment or a recommendation of any property listed on the site. The off campus Application Form is accessible online after signing up as a user to the site. Please contact us for a hard copy of the Off Campus Housing Application Form.

Note to Students:

Use the toolbar at the top of the page to navigate the site. You do not need a username / password to view the off-campus listings. Simply click on "Search" in the menu above to view the listings. You will, however, need a username / password to post listings to the site.

Note to Lessors:

Use the toolbar at the top of the page to navigate the site. The website listings are for use by Thompson Rivers University students. The provision of listings and their content is at the sole discretion of the University, which may, without notice or reason, deny, remove or limit any listing or any information contained therein.  In addition, the University may, without notice, post warnings to students concerning complaints about any listing or any property listed on this website.
