Accident Insurance
University faculty and staff who are injured while performing TRU business away from their normal place of work may be eligible for BC Workers' Compensation benefits.

University faculty and staff who are injured while performing TRU business away from their normal place of work may be eleigible for BC Workers' Compensation benefits.
Accident / Illness Insurance
TRU members of faculty and staff covered by the Basic Medical Services Plan and by the Group Extended Health Benefit Plan are insured for 80% and 100% (depending on nature of accident / illness) of out-of-province hospitalization costs. These benefits do not apply to students, nor do they apply to members of faculty or staff who are not enrolled in the extended health plan.
