TRU Entrance Awards
Please note that application for all Undergraduate Entrance Scholarships are made on the same application form. The Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship and the MBA Entrance Award have separate application forms.
The application form must be completed in ink and may only be used to apply for TRU Entrance Scholarships.
Undergraduate Entrance Scholarships are available to Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents enrolling in a program of at least two years duration. The Minimum Academic Requirement is an 80% average in five Grade 11 academic subjects including Math and English.

TRU Ambassador's Entrance Scholarship 
Awards of approximately $20,000 (full tuition & fees, renewable over four years)
(minimum 6 awards)
Application Deadline: March 1
These "open" scholarships are available to first time students who have not previously attended a college or university, to recognize academic excellence based on admission averages in the 'core subjects', and leadership and community service, through documentation.

TRU President's Entrance Scholarship 
Awards of $3,500 each (minimum 25 awards)
Application Deadline: March 1
These "open" scholarships are available to all first time students who have not previously attended a college or university. This scholarship recognizes student academic excellence based on admission averages in the core subjects.

TRU Leadership Entrance Scholarship 
Awards of $3,500 each (minimum 10 awards)
Application Deadline: March 1
This scholarship recognizes leadership, through documented references, combined with solid academic performance.

TRU Community Service Entrance Scholarship 
Awards of $1000 each (minimum 25 awards)

This scholarship recognizes community service, through documented references, combined with solid academic performance.

TRU Board of Governors' Regional Entrance Scholarship
Awards of $3,000 each (20 awards available)
Application Deadline: March 1
These scholarships are given to a maximum of one outstanding graduate in each of the provincially accredited secondary schools in the following communities: 100 Mile House, Ashcroft/Cache Creek, Barriere, Chase; Clinton; Clearwater; Kamloops (8); Lytton; Lillooet; Logan Lake; Merritt; Quesnel (2); Revelstoke; Salmon Arm; and Williams Lake (2), entering a TRU credit program for the first time. One award may be offered to a qualified graduate of each eligible school who the school believes best exemplifies leadership qualities and general excellence in his or her program of study. Up to three candidates may be nominated by each school, and submitted to TRU for consideration.

TRU Board of Governors' Regional Open Entrance Scholarship
Awards of $3,000 each (10 awards available)
Application Deadline: March 1
These scholarships will be awarded to students who have been nominated through the TRU Board of Governors Entrance Scholarship Program, and who did not receive a scholarship. All students on the secondary school nomination forms will be considered for these awards, with no limit on the number of students from any individual school.

TRU President's Open Transfer Scholarship 
Awards of $2,000 each (minimum 5 awards)
Priority Application Deadline: March 1 (Final Deadline July 31)
These "open" scholarships are available to students transferring from another college or university to attend TRU to complete a degree program. This award is based upon academic standing, and students must have been attending post-secondary full-time in the previous year. (NOTE: After March 1, this application only will continue to be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until July 31).
