TRU gratefully acknowledges the financial support of the Southern Interior Development Initiative Trust, a trust created and funded by the Province of British Columbia to encourage, promote and support economic development in the Southern Interior of British Columbia.
Awards for Trades and Technology
TRU will receive $840,000 between July 2008 and July 2011 to financially assist students in eligible TRU trades and technology programs.

Eligibility
a) be entering full-time study in an eligible program;
b) be taking courses at TRU's Kamloops campus;
c) be in good academic standing;
d) demonstrate financial need;
e) be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident (landed immigrant).
Amount:
The number of eligible applicants will determine our ability to assist as many students as possible.
Bursaries range from $500 to $ 5,000.
