Last day to apply for Student Aid BC for full Summer semester programs ending August 5.

Recommended early deadline for applying for government student aid if funds required by start of Fall semester or if fee deferral required.

Sept. 20

Last day for course changes and to switch between audit and credit in the Fall semester and to receive a tuition refund. Students who drop below 60% course load (9 post-secondary credits) for credit and who are in receipt of student financial aid or awards must advise the Financial Aid & Awards Office of their changed status, which may affect student aid. Students making up a full-time course load with TRU-Open Learning classes must advise Financial Aid & Awards.

Sept. 23

Last day for students on fee deferral to pay fees for Fall semester without incurring a penalty.

Oct. 28

Last day to withdraw from a Fall semester course. Refer to September 20 regarding impact on student aid. Check BC Student Loan interest-free status. It might expire this month.

Nov. 4

Last day for students in single semester academic or career programs, or in four-month trades programs which commenced September 7, to submit Student Aid BC applications online.

Dec. 2

Last day of instruction for Fall semester.  Last day for withdrawal from a Fall semester program.  Refer to September 20 regarding impact on student aid.  Last day for payment of fees for Winter semesterized programs for students not on fee deferral.

Last day to apply online for Schedule 2/Certificate 2 to maintain interest-free status on student loan(s) for Fall semester.

Commencement of instruction for Winter classes. First day to apply online for Schedule 2/Certificate 2 to maintain interest-free status on student loan(s).

First day to pick up second disbursements of scholarships and bursaries covering Fall and Winter semesters dependent on confirmation of enrolment and previous semesters/term grades.

Deadline for TRU Application for Awards.  The application must be submitted online by midnight on the 3rd Friday of January.
