Canada Millennium Scholarships Foundation - External Awards Description

The Canada Millennium Scholarship Foundation was established by an Act of Parliament in 1998 with the purpose of celebrating the third millennium by promoting access to post-secondary education in Canada and reducing student debt. The Foundation administers two types of scholarships: need-based millennium bursaries and merit-based millennium excellence awards.
