Canadian Union of Public Employees Local 900 - External Awards Description

Four $1000 scholarships payable in two $500 installments are available to applicants who have completed Grade 12 and the students parent, guardian, spouse of applicant or the applicant her/himself is a member in good standing of CUPE Local 900.  Applicant must complete an application form supported by a transcript of your most recent school marks and a letter of acceptance from the school or institution of your choice.  Applicant must submit a 250-word essay outlining how Unions have affected your life and a second 250-word essay outlining your future plans.  Applications and further information may be obtained at CUPE Local 900, 387-4th Avenue, Kamloops, BC V2C 3P1 or telephone (250) 374-0042.  Deadline: June 30
