Recycling Stations

These stations have recycling facilities for beverage containers as well as office paper.  There are several Recycle Stations on campus, located in all the major buildings:

• Campus Activity Centre - on the first floor near the TRU Bookstore
• Arts and Education Building - on the second floor by the vending machines
• Old Main - on the first floor near Tim Hortons and also on the second floor  by the cafe
• Science - on the second floor in the middle of the building
• Trades and Technology - on the first and second floors by concessions
• Gym - on the second floor by the consession

Mixed Paper Recycling Containers

Paper which can be recycled in these containers as well as the Recycle Stations includes: White paper - copy paper, letterhead, computer printouts Coloured paper - copy machine, carbonless, post-it-notes Envelopes - white and coloured Manilla file folders Please do no recycle the following in these containers: Please NO paper with glue, tapes, sensitive labels Please NO cardboard or brown paper Please NO brown or tan envelopes Please NO newspaper, magazines or phonebooks PLease NO plastic overhead transparencies

Beverage Recycling Containers The following beverage containers can be recycled in these containers as well as the Recycle stations: aluminium cans glass bottles plastic juice and water bottles which are #1 or #7 tetra packs
