Our staff organize and participate in dozens of community focused events each year including the United Way Campaign, Big Brothers & Sisters, Run for the Cure, Terry Fox, SPCA's Paws for Cause, Olympic Torch Bearers, McHappy Day Raise A Reader, Wendy's Dream Lift and World Literacy Day, Guerin Creek Clean Up (environmental initiative)

Trades students/faculty/community for YMCA Dream Home
Each year, TRU employees organize a United Way Campaign. We have raised over $100,000.00 to date.
TRU Foundation awarded $409,000.00 to 470 students in 2009 to assist in their education.
Did you know that TRU co-financed the Kamloops Centre for Water Quality and now has labs and training programs in the facility?
Cultural Diversity
TRU is a globally minded campus. We have staff and students from over 90 different countries.
Every year, employees are encouraged be a part of International Days, a five day festival of World Cultures.
Our annual Aboriginal Awareness Week educates and exposes the TRU Community to the fascinating array of Aboriginal Nations on campus.
Sports & Recreation
WolfPack volleyball, basketball and soccer games are played on campus and are popular events for families.
The Recreation department offers free cardio circuts, boot camps, dance, yoga and stretching classes
Tournament Capital Centre is adjacent to campus and features a gymnasium, pool, indoor and outdoor tracks, weight room, wellness centre, gymnastics
