Dr. Christine Wihak, Director, PLAR

Dr. Christine Wihak is the Director of PLAR at Thompson Rivers University, Open Learning (TRU-OL). Prior to joining TRU-OL, Dr. Wihak was an Assistant Professor in Workplace and Adult Learning at the University of Calgary. She carries out research in the area of work-related informal learning and PLAR.

Dr. Wihak holds a PhD in Educational Psychology from the University of Alberta, a Master's of Psychology and a Graduate Diploma in Public Administration, both from Carleton University, and an Honours BA in Psychology from Queen's University.

Adina Gray, PLAR Advisor

Adina Gray is the PLAR Advisor and her role is to coach students through the PLAR process. Adina holds a Bachelor of Business Administration as well as a Certificate in Intercultural Studies and is currently working on her Master's degree. She has been with TRU-OL for the past four years and has experience in Financial Aid and Enrolment Services. In her spare time Adina enjoys travelling with her husband, learning about other cultures and languages and playing with her bunny Stuart.
