A World of Opportunity

Through Open Learning you have access to over 550 courses and approximately 55 programs including certificate, diploma, degree and post-baccalaureates. The various programs available for study at Open Learning are recognized internationally by other educational institutions and employers.

Through Open Learning anyone can open the door to their educational possibilities.

Everyone is eligible for general admission to Open Learning and can apply for course registration as well as admission into credential programs at any time.

Applicants do not require a specific grade point average (GPA) and are not required to submit transcripts from secondary school to be admitted to Open Learning and to register in courses.

Students enrolled in programs delivered by Open Learning can maximize their skills and experience through Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR), which awards academic credit for non-formal learning and knowledge such as industry-based training, professional development workshops and seminars, private study and work experience. PLAR is a process which helps you to identify, describe and document knowledge and learning you have developed through work and life experience.
