As of February 23, 2011, Thompson Rivers University, Open Learning (TRU-OL) has switched to new course codes, i.e. acronyms and numbers, for all online and distance courses. All course codes use four digits, instead of the previous three digits, to describe each course. For example, ADMN 137, Management and Information Systems 1, became BBUS1371, Management and Information Systems 1.

These changes do not affect the content of any course.

If you are interested in enrolling in a TRU-OL course through one of our consortium partners including the University of Victoria and Simon Fraser University, please note the UVic or SFU course code on the chart as they do not parallel the new four-digit course codes. Transitioning all of our courses to the new four-digit course code system in all of our materials and various references will take time. We appreciate your patience and welcome your feedback.
