Canadian Institute of Dental Hygiene
The Canadian Institute of Dental Hygiene (CIDH) offers Canada’s first private accredited Diploma in Dental Hygiene program. Established in 2000 and located in Hamilton, Ontario, the CIDH program is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada. CIDH’s 18-month program is comprised of 3 consecutive 24-week semesters.
In December 2010, CIDH entered into an articulation agreement with Thompson Rivers University (TRU). CIDH graduates will have earned approximately 2 years of credits towards a Bachelor of Health Science or Bachelor of General Studies from TRU.
