The following outlines the application process and payment instructions for registrants in the CDHBC PLAR Assessment process.
Note: Every applicant accepted for registration into the CDHBC PLAR assessment process will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by the regulations and policies set out by CDHBC and TRU.
Step 1: Determine if you are a good candidate for the PLAR Evaluation. Complete the self-assessment.
Step 2: Formally apply for the PLAR Assessment.

If you are considering registering into the CDHBC PLAR assessment process, you must first complete and submit both the Pre-Application Review for CDHBC PLAR payment form (Form A) along with the Self-Assessment form. The CDHBC PLAR Assessor will contact you with a recommendation as to whether or not you should proceed with the formal application process.
Prospective candidates who have completed the Pre-Application review process are eligible to formally register for the CDHBC PLAR Assessment (Form B).
Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy
As a public body, Thompson Rivers University (TRU) is subject to the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA). TRU must comply with the Act and protect the privacy of personal identifiable information (PII) in its custody and control.
In submitting the above applications, all applicants are advised that the information they provide will be protected and used in compliance with the British Columbia Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
