Organizational Structure

The fund awards will be managed by the AVP-OL. The AVP-OL will be Chair of the Selection Committee and will liaise with the AVP-Research as required.

A support person may be hired, funded jointly by the Open Learning fund and the Research Office. This position will be responsible for:

• Searching for funding opportunities
• Publishing the funding information, including dates, criteria and other critical information on the OL/Research Office website
• Maintain an online calendar of funding deadlines, etc.
• Assisting applicants with proposal writing

This position may be part time and will be housed in the Research Office. The administrative assistant to the AVP-OL will assist in the gathering of proposals and organizing meetings of the OL Research Award Committee (RAC).
