Comprehensive University Enhancement Fund
Background
In February 2003, the TRU Board of Governors approved plans for the initiation of a Comprehensive University Enhancement Fund (CUEF). Scholarships, recreation and guest speakers as well as study abroad, co-op education, student research, wellness and faculty development benefit from this fund.
The CUEF Steering Committee meets every second and fourth Tuesday, September - June, and on an "as needed" basis over the summer. Please bear this in mind when submitting funding applications, and allow sufficient time for documentation to be reviewed and a decision made IN ADVANCE of the proposed activity. Through the CUEF Steering Committee, students can apply for funding to attend conferences, field trips or competitions. All applications should be submitted as a paper copy with signatures to Linda Butt, OM1643.
The Office of the Associate Vice President, Research processes applications from students wishing to conduct research with a faculty advisor at TRU. Information pertaining to and an application for the CUEF Undergraduate Student Research Experience Award Program (U-REAP) Student Awards in Support of Research, Scholarship and the Production of Creative Works is available at www.tru.ca/rigs/research/undergrad/funding.html .
