Gender and Diversity: Creating Inclusion in the Learning Environment

This workshop provides a framework for the skills and awareness needed to begin to create an inclusive environment in the classroom and workplace. The workshop consists of exercises and theories intended to assist administrators, faculty, and staff with issues that arise in relation to gender and diversity. This orientation session will provide an opportunity for participants to critically examine ideas and issues. This orientation session is intended for faculty who are interested in promoting observation, reflection, and action on the issues that both promote and prevent classroom learning and workplace effectiveness.
