Teaching Dossier
This workshop is designed for faculty who wish to develop a teaching dossier (portfolio) for the purposes of formative or summative evaluation, and for academic promotion and tenure. In small groups, participants will explore the necessary components of a teaching dossier and will discover how peer review by a colleague can contribute to the quality of the dossier. Through the process of working together on their own portfolio, the participants will reflect critically on their teaching practice becoming more aware of the conscious use of educational theories and assumptions that guide their teaching at the post-secondary level.
