Field Instructor Certification HUMS 052

This participatory and interactive course is intended for agency and school professionals who provide (or are interested in providing) practica for post-secondary students. Learn how to create a dynamic field curriculum, develop an effective learning contract, and make the shift from supervisor to educator.

Group Facilitation Skills HUMS 071

Increase your effectiveness as a facilitator of both formal and informal groups. You'll learn about theories of group process, group dynamics and the roles played by group members and facilitators in a variety of circumstances. To develop your skills and strategies for effective group leadership, you'll be actively involved in role-playing and skill practice. This course will benefit anyone who facilitates groups that focus on training, support, and planning.
