Because we are a Cost Recovery Department, there are no refunds once a course starts.  Courses are checked one week prior to the start of each course & if there are not enough registrants, the course will be cancelled. PLEASE REGISTER EARLY. To receive a refund, a person must withdraw one week prior to the start of the course.  If the course falls on a Saturday or Sunday a withdrawal must be done the Friday previous.  If the course is cancelled a full refund will be issued.  Costs for courses can change periodically.

Learn survival Spanish in just six weeks. This 24-hour course will give you the basic tools for functioning as more than just a tourist in a Spanish-speaking environment. The emphasis is on speaking and listening comprehension, with some basic grammar.
Required text:   Spanish Made Simple (available at the TRU Bookstore).
Instructor Emma Molina trained as a teacher in San Salvador. Since 1982 she has organized and taught Spanish courses for adults.

This course is a continuation of Conversational Spanish - Level 1 and is designed for people who have already taken a beginners Spanish course.
