Because we are a Cost Recovery Department, there are no refunds once a course starts. Courses are checked one week prior to the start of each course & if there are not enough registrants, the course will be cancelled. PLEASE REGISTER EARLY. To receive a refund, a person must withdraw one week prior to the start of the course. If the course falls on a Saturday or Sunday a withdrawal must be done the Friday previous. If the course is cancelled a full refund will be issued. Costs for courses can change periodically.

Fire Suppression and Safety, Basic S-100 (XFOR 0980)
This course is the minimum requirement to work as a wildfire fighter. Spend 1 day in the class and 1 day in the field. Successful participants receive a wallet certificate. Prerequisite 18 years of age or older. Certificate valid for one year.
Fire Suppression and Safety, Basic S-100 Recertification (XFOR 0990)
This course is a four hour course.
Foodsafe Level I (XOCH 0850) Can be done as a contract also
Do you want to work in the food industry? Are you currently working in the food industry but desire a greater understanding of safe food handling practices? This sanitation program is appropriate for food handlers, kitchen staff and dining room attendants. You will learn about the purchase and storage of potentially hazardous foods, personal hygiene, the causes of food borne diseases and maintaining a sanitary food service operation. Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive health unit certification.
Foodsafe Level II (XOCH 0870) Contract only
Level 2 is intended for Managers and Supervisors who have already completed Level 1. It includes a review of Level 1, more on microbiology, design and maintenance of a food service establishment, pest control procedures, managing sanitary practices, and an introduction to the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) system. A Level 2 Student workbook is included in the course.
Transportation of Dangerous Goods (XDRV 0620)
The Transportation of Dangerous Goods course is offered to ensure the provision of information to people who handle dangerous goods, transport dangerous goods, or who respond to transportation emergencies involving dangerous goods. With the use of video presentations, and the supplied course materials, our instructor will guide you through the proper classification, documentation, special situations and emergency actions as well as the shipping document and means of containment requirements for dangerous goods shipment. A must for shippers, receivers, people who work in a warehouse, and professional or commercial drivers.
WHMIS (XOCH 0860)
This short course will provide you with an overview of the "Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS)" and how it affects the workplace. A certificate will be issued.
