Because we are a Cost Recovery Department, there are no refunds once a course starts. Courses are checked one week prior to the start of each course & if there are not enough registrants, the course will be cancelled. PLEASE REGISTER EARLY. To receive a refund, a person must withdraw one week prior to the start of the course. If the course falls on a Saturday or Sunday a withdrawal must be done the Friday previous. If the course is cancelled a full refund will be issued. Costs for courses can change periodically.

Red Cross Emergency (XOCH0770)
This is a 7-hour program covering the Emergency Action Principles, airway management for all ages, breathing management for all ages, and circulation management for all ages. This course is recognized by the Ministry of Health for licensing in day-care and home care facilities.
Occupational First Aid Level I (XOCH0800)
This course for the workplace includes primary assessment, C-spine control, adult CPR, choking management, and control of bleeding. You must be 16 YEARS OF AGE or older.
Occupational First Aid Level II (XOCH0810)
(The exam is written after the end of the course on a Sa) This 35 hour course for the workplace includes C-spine control, respiratory & circulatory emergencies, and secondary surveys. Must be 16 years of age or older. Exam will take place on the Sat after the end of the course. Books may be purchased at our Bookstore. No medical is required. A health form is filled out by the student at the beginning of the course.
Transportation Endorsement (XOCH 0780)
Learn to assess the accident scene, to assess injuries, to stabilize life-threatening situations. Must be 16 years of age or older.
Occupational First Aid Level III (XOCH0820)
This 70 hour course for the workplace includes all the skills OFA 11 course plus transportation of the injured worker. Must be 16 years of age or older. Exam will take place on the Sat after the end of the course. Books may be purchased at our Bookstore. No medical is required. A health form is filled out by the student at the beginning of the course.
Occupational First Aid Level III Renewal (XOCHS0830)
(Exam is written at the end of the on a Sa) Student MUST have held a previous OFA Level 111 or IFA certificate, whether current or not. Applicants must be 16 years of age or older. No medical required. A health form is filled out by the student at the beginning of the course. Pre-reading is strongly recommended.

Taught to Canadian Heart Foundation standards, with certification from the Red Cross. Designed to keep your Basic Rescuer Certification current.
