Frequently Asked Questions & Important Information:
Recruitment Material
All participating organizations are encouraged to bring a sufficient supply of recruitment material as no printing facilities are available on site.
Advance Shipment of Display Units/Materials
Participants may ship display units and materials no later than two days prior to the Fair to the attention of the Career Education Department.
Audiovisual Equipment
Participants are responsible for supplying their own equipment.
Electrical Supply
The electrical supply consists of one 15 amp 110 volt duplex receptacle. Any electrical equipment you are using must be in compliance with the British Columbia Provincial Government Code.
Internet Connections
If you require Internet access, please ensure you have indicated your need for this information on the Fair Registration Form. Further detailed information will be forwarded to you in your confirmation package.

Booth Signage
Signage identifying the organization name is not included in the registration fee. Signage must fit appropriately in the allotted space the exhibitor has reserved. Exhibitors are requested to bring tape, string, or other material to hang signage.
Nametags
Employers are encouraged to bring their own nametags. Otherwise, plastic nametag holders will be provided for business card insertion.
Booth Set-up & Hours
Representatives may arrive anytime after 7:00 AM for set-up on March 7, 2013. Set-up of booths must be completed by 9:00 AM on March 7, 2013. Assistance will be available for unloading materials - please see the Volunteer section below. Booth hours are from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. We have made arrangements for exhibitors to set up displays the night before the job fair. On March 6, 2013, exhibitors will be able to set op their displays from 7pm to 9pm. (To be confirmed)
Booth Clean –Up
Exhibitors will be responsible for the clean up of their promotional material. Exhibitors will also be responsible for shipping display units.
Lunch & Refreshments
Refreshments and snacks will be available throughout the day. Lunch will be provided between 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM.
Parking on Campus
Free parking will be provided to all exhibitors participating in the Job Fair on March 7, 2013. Passes will be emailed to exhibitors prior to the event.
Volunteer Assistance
TRU student volunteers are available to assist you with the set up and/or take down of your display (including taking materials to and from your vehicle) and they can also provide other assistance where needed (such as covering your booth during breaks). Please let us know by email in advance if you would like this service and we would be happy to arrange this for you.
Accommodations
For those Exhibitors planning to stay overnight you will have many options in the city and on campus.
We now have the option of offering you accommodations in our new residence building. The beautifully decorated rooms are designed for dignitaries visiting the campus and offer quick access to the Campus Activity Centre which host the Job Fair.
For exhibitors wanted to stay off campus, we have made arrangements with hotels that will provide us with preferred rates. Please contact us for additional information.
Refunds
Full refunds will be granted prior to February 15th, 2013. After February 15th, no refunds will be provided.
