Co-op Abroad

With a commitment to accessibility, choice, flexibility and personal attention, Thompson Rivers University and the TRU Co-op Abroad Program will make international opportunities accessible to Co-op students.  The purpose of the Co-op Abroad option is to educate current students -  future Thompson Rivers University graduates in the global arena.

Co-op students from all program areas are eligible for Co-op Abroad.  Students considering working overseas should allow up to 8 months prior to departure for planning and visa application processing.  In the past, Co-op students were able to apply to the Comprehensive University Enhancement Fund to access funding to offset the cost of international Co-op Abroad placements-however this committee has denied future funding for co-op abroad students-see your coordinator for more information.

Contact your Co-op program Coordinator for more information on the application process to Co-op Abroad and overseas opportunities.
