Wait-list Registration Process
A message will be sent to your TRU Outlook Email (about TRU Outlook email) when a spot becomes available for any courses which you have been wait-listed for. Please ensure you check your email daily during this wait-list period.
Students will have 48 hours from the time the email is sent to log in to their myTRU account to register in the course(s). Starting August 24 (for Fall term classes) and December 14 (for Winter term classes) the time will change to 24 hours.
If you do not register within the allocated time, you will be removed from the wait-list and the seat will go to the next student on the wait-list. If you wish to be reconsidered for the course, you will be required to re-register and re-add yourself to the wait-list again.
IMPORTANT: Wait-listed students are expected to attend the first two class meetings for their wait-listed courses. If you are not able to attend the first two class meetings, you must make prior arrangements with the instructor. Students may be dropped from the class roster or wait-list for non-attendance.
Students unable to register online or those who require additional support may contact the Registrar's Office.
The Registrar’s Office is temporarily located in the first floor of the Brown Family House of Learning (HOL).
You may register anytime on or after your registration date.
