Students are introduced to law, politics, and the judiciary, with particular emphasis on the role of the judiciary in relation to selected issues in political science. Students primarily focus on the Canadian legal system in comparison to other legal systems. Students gain lifelong learning skills necessary to understand the complex political nature of Canada's legal system and international law within a Canadian context. Students considering law as a potential career will find this course offers a strong foundation for future studies.
Prerequisite: Completion of 30 credits (any discipline).
