The Management Education Centre: Core Programs

We offer 3 core programs focused on building management skills. Students can enrol in classes individually or as a group. Organizations can arrange to send one or groups of employees into the programs.

We also deliver custom or specialty training.

Mastering Management Skills

This 12-day program delivers hands on Management training immediately useful on the job.

Advanced Management Skills

This three day workshop is designed to develop Leadership That Engages. A 3-day program designed for managers who have taken the certificate Management Skills for Supervisors, or an equivalent supervisory training course.

Stepping Up to Supervision

This 2 day program gives you hands-on practice with the skills required to lead our rapidly changing workplaces.

Becoming a supervisor or lead hand is a challenging transition. It requires a different set of skills to move from doing the actual job to the role of delegating and supervising the work of others. The work expectations of the supervisor continue to evolve to meet the business needs that characterize most workplaces today.

This 2-day program will give participants hands-on practice with the new skills required to lead effectively in rapidly changing environments.
