Upper Level Requirements (20 Courses)
Years 3 & 4

Core

All BBA students must complete the Core requirements listed below:

Only courses with grades of C- or better may be used as prerequisites or Core or Major/Minor credit.
Students cannot get credit for both BBUS 3310 (Operations Management) and BBUS 3320 (Supply Chain Management)

Specializations

All students must complete the General BBA or one or more of the following majors:

• Economics Major / Minor
• Environmental Economics and Sustainable Development Minor
• Finance Major / Minor
• Financial Markets and Institutions Minor
• Human Resource Management Major / Minor
• Information Technology Major
• International Business Major / Minor
• Marketing Major / Minor
• New Venture Creation Major / Minor
• Public Relations Minor

Other Options

Once they have completed the core and a major, or the General BBA, students have a number of other options.  Some may simply complete their degree by taking additional business or non-business electives, while others will do a minor, double major or pursue the Honours Degree Option.

Degree Completion Requirements

Courses should be chosen so as to ensure that the following Degree Completion Requirements are satisfied.

1. Complete at least 120 semester credits including a minimum of 45 credits in non-BBUS courses.
2. Complete in the final 60 credits a minimum of 51 semester credits in Upper Division courses, including a minimum of 39 credits in BBUS/BUEC/COMP/ECON.
3. Complete at least four 4000 level BBUS/BUEC/COMP/ECON courses including BBUS 4780.
4. Complete all Lower Division Requirements, Core courses in 3rd and 4th Year, and a Major or General BBA.
5. Maintain an overall CGPA of at least 2.0, and grades of C- or better in all Core and Major/Minor or General BBA courses.
6. Notify the Program Advisor of their intent to graduate. Notification must take place prior to the drop/add deadline in the final semester of degree study.

Business Administration Degree Program Policies

1. Any course duplication (repeating a course) will require prior approval of the Program Advisor. Normally, no more than 3 courses may be duplicated; and only one duplication of a single course will be allowed. The highest grade achieved in duplicated courses will be used for CGPA calculations, but the student's record will show all attempts.
2. Students who have advanced to the 3^rd year of the BBA program and subsequently want to enrol in Upper Division courses offered at other university-level institutions must consult the Program Advisor. Credits for these courses may be applied toward the BBA degree only if prior written approval of the Program Advisor has been granted.
3. No more than 15 credits of Upper Division work completed at other university-level institutions may be counted toward completion of the Upper Division Requirements after being admitted to the BBA program.
4. At least 60 credits of the course work counted toward the 120 credits required for the BBA degree must be completed at TRU.
5. If completing a major and a minor, students can only share credit for one course. When completing a double major students may share credit between two courses only (must still have a minimum 120 credits).
