Baseball - 2005,2007and 2009 National Champions

This program is now in its 10 year of existence and has developed into one of the strongest in the league. Head Coach Ray Chadwick is a great recruiter and has attracted a line-up that includes players from all across Canada, the United States, Japan, Mexico and France.

2010 Season Preview  (Fall)

The TRU WolfPack captured their first Canadian College Baseball Conference regular season pennant in May.   The Pack finished at 18 and 6 in the regular season.  They hosted the CCBC Championship at Norbrock Stadium where they struggled in the round robin but wound up in the championship final.  Unfortunately, they fell short to the VIBI Mariners.  The WolfPack had a number of players named to the CCBC All-Star team.  They included pitcher Jordan Broatch (White Rock, BC), designated hitter David Hole (Vancouver, BC) First baseman Dillon Morgan (Camp Verde, AZ),  and shortstop Jarrod Ivan (Toronto Ont) who were named to the first all-star team. Outfielder Scott Nevison (North Vancouver, BC) and pitcher Danny Moore (Victoria, BC) were chosen as second team all-stars.

Broatch was named the CCBC's top pitcher with an earned run average of 1.21.He pitched 59.1 innings, giving up 16 walks, striking out 45 and surrendering eight earned runs.  Moore had the most victories (6-0).

Head Coach Ray Chadwick will host the National Championship again in 2011 and 2012 th at Norbrock Stadium in Kamloops.
