Volleyball Camps

In 2012 we will be offering 2 types of volleyball camps.  The first being development camps run by our Instructor Athletes the second being our Performance Development Camps run by TRU Womens' Volleyball Head Coach Keith Lundgren and his accomplished volleyball team athletes.

Development Camps

The Development Camps will provide instruction on fundamental techniques for all components of volleyball.  Skills that we will be concentrating on for development will include forearm pass, overhead set, serve, block, spike, individual defence and team offence and defence.  Campers will be instructed by our Athlete Instructors in a fun and productive environment.  Every Friday the campers will get the opportunity to utilize their new skill sets in our Friday Game Series.

Ages 15 – 18 (Learning to Compete)
Athletes in this camp will learn execution and application of all 6 volleyball skills

serving strategies to optimize the best opportunity to run an effective defense.  Moreover, training will be
tailored to position specific needs based on athlete’s assessment of their position with their high school and
club programs.  Athletes will be placed into competitive situations and will execute learned skills and strategies
in these situations.  Lastly, all athletes will have an opportunity to see themselves perform one or more of the
