Erin Connelly-Reed Sport and Event Coordinator



ErinErin has recently joined the TRU Athletic Team and is excited to deliver new and improved Summer Sport Camp programming.  She is a TRU Alumni graduating from the BTM Program in 2007 and is thrilled to once again be back at TRU.  Erin is a certified Level 1 Rugby Coach and Official and has played rugby in Canada and England for the past 15 years.  Erin has been an active member in the Kamloops Sporting Community volunteering her time in several different coaching roles, Summer Games Director positions and has been a member of various sporting clubs.  She looks forward to expanding camp selections and offering the community more camps during the year not just the summer!


Jesse Olynyk



Jesse has worked for TRU Sport Camps for the 2007/08/09 & 12 season.  She is an accomplished Rugby Player, she has played for Canada U19's and U20's and currently playing the BC Senior Women's Rugby Team.  Jesse also has competitive experience with Wrestling, Basketball, Gymnastics, Softball and Volleyball.  She is a Level 1 certified Gymnastics coach and is working on her Rugby Certification.  Jesse is excited to be once again be working for the Summer Camps and looks forward to developing camper sport skills.

Anica Arduini


Anica
Anica Arduini plays on the TRU Badminton Team and has been playing badminton for the last 8 years. She has experience coaching badminton through South Kamloops Secondary School as well as through the Kamloops Badminton Club. She has been playing soccer her whole life as well as rock climbing at a competitive level. She has never been a camp instructor before but has herself attended various sport camps growing up.

Brianne Rauch

Brianne Rauch's sport experience includes skiing, speed skating, gymnastics, dance, soccer, track & field, basketball, karate, snowboarding, softball and mainly volleyball. She has played volleyball for 6 years straight. She has been involved with school teams, club teams, provincial teams and now a university team. As a coach she has taught as an assistant dance teacher and coached multiple volleyball teams including, two Bantam boys teams, two grade 5 teams and one grade 6/7 group. She has completed her CABC level A and B coaching.  As a child camper herself she has attended Kimberley Kids Camp for several summers and many volleyball camps including: Baden Cups, NBC camps, COTR camps and Wolfpack camps.

Cam Strachan

Cam Strachan currently plays for the TRU baseball team. Growing up he played almost
every sport but excelled in hockey and baseball. He has attended many hockey camps as well
as baseball camps and for the past 4 years been running baseball camps back in his home town,trail,
as well as here in Kamloops. Outside of camps he is a proud uncle to a niece and two nephews.
Cam is very comfortable being around kids of all ages and looking forward to getting to work this summer.

Diane Schuetze

dianeDiane Schuetze is on the TRU womens basketball team going into her fifth year. Along with being and All-star recognized athlete, Diane helps her TRU coach by coaching at numerous camps and also with the KBA. This will be her second year working as a sports camp instructor.



Emi Ohama



Emiko Ohama has much experience with Basketball. She has also recreational participated Soccer, Gymnastics,
Martial Arts, Volleyball, Track & Field, Badminton and Swimming. She is a member of the Kamloops Soccer Referees
Association. Her basketball highlights includes, Medal games at the 2011: Pac West Provincial, Provincial B Cup,
& Western Canada Summer Games, Thompson Rivers University Women's Basketball Team Member 2009-2011, University of British Columbia Women's Basketball Team Member 2011-2012, 2004-2008 Volunteer Coach in the Steven Nash Youth Basketball Program and Head instructor for the OLPH girls basketball team camp 2009-2012.

Mike Lukow


Mike Lukow has experience playing baseball and football. The has coached Rugby (5years), basketball (2 years)
and football (1 year), as well as refereeing football for 4 years. Mike has been a Camp Instructor for 4 years and also
works during the TRU Home Game Seasons.

Spencer Reed

spencerSpencer Reed has played hockey for 12 years and volleyball for 10 years and is currently in his 4th year of
eligibility for the Wolfpack and has 3 years of Team BC experience. He enjoys playing recreational tennis and golf.  He has coached a 14U boys city league volleyball team many years ago and last summer was a student coach of the 17U Team BC volleyball team at the Western Canada Summer Games. His experience with kids includes 2 years of volunteer work at Westwood Elementary School, completed his first two Bachelor of Education practical this school year at Bert Edwards Elementary and South Kamloops Secondary. This is his 3rd year as an instructor with TRU Sport Camps.

Bill Bilton Head Golf Coach

Bill BiltonBill turned professional in 1993 and has been a Class A CPGA professional for more than 10 years. Bill has 16 tournament wins and was nominated as the BCPGA Player of the Year in 1999. 
In early 2008 Bill was offered the position of Head Coach of the TRU WolfPack.  In just his first year back as Head Coach Bill successfully coached his team to win the CCAA National Championships.  Bill is also the Head of Golf Instruction at the Dunes Golf Club (Home of the TRU WolfPack) and Vice President of Operations. 


 

Keith Lundgren Head Volleyball Womens' Coach

Keith became head coach of the WolfPack on April 19, 2010. He comes to TRU and the CIS from NAIT in Edmonton, Alberta. He spent two years there where he took a team which was 6 and 14 (2008-09) to a record of 15 and 8 (2009-10).  Keith is the second full time head coach for TRU since they joined the Canada West. He has been involved in coaching volleyball for 14 years.  He is a certified level 4 coach from the National Coaching Institute in Victoria. Keith's first taste of post secondary volleyball came when he was the head coach of the Camosun Cougars (BCCAA) from 2003-2005.  He has also coached in the Saskatchewan and Alberta Provincial program and was the Western Canada Games head coach for Saskatchewan's women's team in 2006.


 

Scott Clark Head Basketball Mens' Coach

Scott officially became the head coach of the WolfPack on May 20, 2010.  Before coming to TRU, He was the head coach of the Simon Fraser Univerisity Clan for 15 years. He guided the Clan to ten straight Canada West playoff appearances. In 2009-10, The Clan were 14 and 4.  Scott began coaching high school at Nanaimo Secondary. He had a life time record of 85 and 49. He has also been an assistant coach with UVIC (for a year) and three as an assistant coach with Malaspina College. Scott spent a year as an assistant with SFU before taking over the head coaching job there in 1995-96.  He has a Master's Degree in Education (Coaching Studies) and is a certified level 4 coach. In the past, Scott has worked with both National and Provincial Teams.


 

Paul Patterson Basketball Camp Coach



Paul will be heading all of our out of town basketball camps the first of which is being held at the TRU Williams Lake Campus July 23-26.
