Campus Fitness Classes Are Complimentary For Staff and Students at TRU. Pre Registration for Campus Fitness Classes is not required. All campus fitness classes take place in the TRU Gym – Lower Level. Please be advised that classes are subject to change based on instructor availability.
Cardio and Strength Circuit
This 40 minute class will provide participants with a fun & energetic atmosphere using a combination of strength and cardio exercises. The use of stability balls, bands, medicine balls, weights and body weight exercises will ensure you get a complete workout in a minimum amount of time. This class is adaptable for all levels of fitness.
Boot Camp
Take your cardio and strength levels to the next level! This class combines cardio and strength training drills in a group fitness environment that will motivate you to finish hard and strong. Take the class at your own intensity!!
LBT … Legs, Butt, Tummy
A variety of fitness training techniques will used in this class to tone and to sculpt the entire body.
Pick and Mix
Let the Instructor pick and mix a variety of cardio and strength exercises for a satisfying workout that will deliver results.
Astanga Yoga
A series of poses that combine: flexibility, strength, power, and balance. This class provides an excellent and complete flexibility and toning workout. Astanga Yoga focuses on physical discipline thus improving Flexibility, Strength & Endurance along with Relaxation. Bring your Yoga mat and Wear Comfortable Great for all levels of fitness (even Beginners).
Zumba
Latin inspired, high energy, aerobic fun. Co-ordination is Optional. Ditch the workout, join the party!
Stretch
Increase flexibility and de-stress with basic stretches infused with flavours of Yoga and Pilates as well as relaxation techniques.
Power Of 3
Improve your cardiovascular, muscular, and core strength. Inspire to achieve your fitness goals!
