WOMENS SOCCER RAISES MONEY FOR STRIKES FOR TYKES

Kamloops, BC: For the third year in a row, members of the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack women's soccer team have participated in the Strikes for Tykes fundraising event. The bowling event is a major fundraiser for the Big Brothers/Big Sisters of the Kamloops Region. It is celebrating its 31 st anniversary.

The WolfPack team consisted of team co-captain Shantelle Cooper, Heather Lloyd, Tereza Paulos,Kelsi Callender, Natasha Little, Blair McKay and Kerry Hill. They made 70 dollars.

"It was more about showing that we care about the cause" says Cooper.

The WolfPack women's soccer team was one of two high profile teams to participate in Strikes for Tykes, which wraps up next weekend.
