WOLFPACK SEVENTH IN BC CAA AGGREGATE CUP

Kamloops, BC---Thompson Rivers University WolfPack finished seventh in this years BC College Athletic Association Aggregate points competition. The award goes to the school which collects the most total points based on their teams finish in their respective sports.

Only competing in Men’s and Women’s Soccer, Golf and Badminton, the WolfPack notched 33 total points—12 for women’s soccer, 10 for men’s soccer, eight for golf and three points for badminton.

Vancouver Island University won the aggregate Trophy for 2008-09. The Mariners had 61 points. That was 11 ahead of second place UBC Okanagan Heat. Capilano University Blues were third with 48 points. Camosun College finished fourth with 39 points, two better than the Langara College Falcons.

There are 14 schools in the BC College Athletic Association.

The BC CAA also awarded the Founders Cup—which goes to the institution with the best improvement in Aggregate points from the previous season. Last year, TRU won this. In 2008-09, the award goes to Langara College.
