WOLFPACK VOLLEYBALL TEAMS STILL IN CIS RANKINGS

Kamloops, BC—For the second week in a row, the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack Volleyball teams are mentioned in voting for the CIS top 10 rankings. The WolfPack Men’s team remains in the top ten. Despite being swept by the Calgary Dinos last weekend, the WolfPack are still number six in the CIS Men’s top ten rankings. Calgary has jumped from fifth place to third behind the top two teams: Alberta and Laval. Brandon Bobcats have moved up two spaces from seventh to fifth place. Other Canada West teams in the top 10: Trinity remains 8 th, Winnipeg is ninth and UBC is 10 th.
The WolfPack Women’s team received six votes from coaches nation wide and received consideration for the CIS Top 10. Montreal remains the top team in the nation followed by Alberta, who’ve moved to second spot from third and Calgary who jumped from fourth to third. The WolfPack Women received six votes. TRU closes out its Canada West season this weekend at home to the University of Regina Cougars. Match times Friday and Saturday (Feb 6-7) are 7 pm.
