NO CHANGE FOR WOLFPACK IN CIS TOP TEN MVB RANKINGS/FIRST TIME VOTES FOR WVB

Kamloops, BC-A split with Trinity Western University has resulted in no change in the standings of the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack Men’s Volleyball Team in the CIS top 10 rankings. The WolfPack remain 6 th in the most recent top 10.
Defending CIS Champion Alberta and Laval remain the top two teams in the nation. There has been some changes after that. Dalhousie has moved into third spot from fourth. A sweep by Brandon last week has dropped Calgary from third all the way to fifth place. McMaster is fourth.
Brandon has jumped from ninth spot to seventh. Winnipeg and Trinity are tied for 8 th with UBC rounding out the top 10.
For the first time in their 4 year CIS history, the WolfPack Women’s Volleyball team has received votes in the CIS top 10 rankings. TRU got seven votes to come in tied for 14 th spot.
“We are starting to be competitive with some of the best teams in the CIS,” says TRU Coach Cal Wohlford. “ We have two weeks to show people we belong in the top 10. It’s a small victory to be recognized.”
