WOLFPACK MVB PROSPECTS WIN CLUB VOLLEYBALL TOURNEY

Langley, BC—Three future members of the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack Men’s volleyball team captured gold at the first BC Club Tournament of the season. Matt Krueger (left side, libero) of MEI, Alex Davis (middle) and Stephen Richter (left side) both of White Rock, BC were part of the Fraser Valley Volleyball Club Blue which won the U-18 title.

Fraser Valley downed their own club U-17 team 25-23, 25-21 to win the event.

The Blue beat a Prince George club in the first round of the 16 team tourname which included current WolfPack red shirt Spencer Reed.

Krueger, Davis and Richter will join the WolfPack for the 2009-10 season.

Club Volleyball is a developmental program which runs in the Spring and Summer, helping in the selection of Provincial Team players.
