WOLFPACK MEN’S VOLLEYBALL RANKED 9 TH IN FIRST CIS POLL OF THE YEAR
For Immediate Release: October 21, 2008

Kamloops—Winning a bronze medal doesn’t guarantee yourself a third place standing in the National ranking.  Just ask the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack Men’s Volleyball team.   The first rankings of the season are out, and the WolfPack are rated number nine.
“Its just an honour being in the top ten teams in the nation” says WolfPack Head Coach Pat Hennelly, who’s team has gone 2 and 8 during the pre season.
There are a  number of other Canada West Teams in the top 10.  Defending champion Alberta is first . Calgary is fourth, Winnipeg sixth, Brandon seventh and UBC at number 10.
The WolfPack  open up their CIS regular season November 24 th in Manitoba.
