WOLFPACK MVB DROP IN THE CIS TOP 10 RANKINGS (NOW 9 TH)

For Immediate Release: November 25, 2008
Kamloops—A weekend sweep by the University of Winnipeg Wesmen has resulted in a dropping in the CIS top 10 rankings by the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack.
The Pack are now 9 th in the top ten. That was down from eight place last week.
“At least someone out there has faith in the WolfPack” joked TRU head coach Pat Hennelly. “Seriously, I thought we were going to drop out of the top 10 after the weekend. I credit Winnipeg with coming up with a great effort. This weekend (Nov 28-29), UBC is playing Trinity and I can guarantee there won’t be a sweep there.”
The WolfPack, now 3 and 5, close out the pre-Christmas portion of their Canada West season at home against the University of Saskatchewan Huskies.
The Top five teams remain where they were: Alberta first, followed by McMaster, Laval, Calgary and Dalhousie.
