WOLFPACK MVB DROP IN THE CIS TOP 10 RANKINGS (NOW 9 TH)

Kamloops—A weekend sweep by the University of Winnipeg Wesmen has resulted in a dropping in the CIS top 10 rankings by the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack.

The Pack are now 9 th in the top ten.  That was down from eight place last week.

“At least someone out there has faith in the WolfPack” joked TRU head coach Pat Hennelly.  “Seriously, I thought we were going to drop out of the top 10 after the weekend.  I credit Winnipeg with coming up with a great effort.  This weekend (Nov 28-29), UBC is playing Trinity and I can guarantee there won’t be a sweep there.”

The WolfPack, now 3 and 5,  close out the pre-Christmas portion of their Canada West season at home against the University of Saskatchewan Huskies.

The Top five teams remain where they were: Alberta first, followed by McMaster, Laval, Calgary and Dalhousie.
