SNOW WIPES OUT HALF OF DOUBLEHEADER WITH BLAZE IN LANGLEY

Langley, BC--The Langley Blaze and the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack were hoping to play a pair of exhibition games on Sunday (Mar 8). But due to the inclement weather conditions in the Fraser Valley, the two teams could only get in one game.
The WolfPack won their fifth game of the exhibition campaign, downing the hometown Blaze 5-3. Danny Moore (RHP, Victoria, BC) was the winning pitcher. The first year hurler went 5 and a third innings. He gave up five hits and three runs, striking out three and walking one.
Matt Walker (Bowen Island, BC) notched the save. He pitched an inning and two third notching a strikeout.
The WolfPack, who are now 5 and 7 in exhibition play got big offensive performances from Adam Halland (Infield, Kamloops, BC), Ben Bradford (Catcher/Outfielder, Kamloops, BC) and Yoshi Nakamura (Catcher/Outfielder, Yokohama, Japan).
Halland was 2 for 3 with a run scored and an RBI. Bradford was 2 for 4 with a run scored and a stolen base. Nakamura was 1 for 2 with two walks.
The WolfPack are off next weekend and wind up their pre season with two doubleheaders (Mar 16 and 17) against Big Bend Community College in Moses Lake, Washington.
