CITY TO GO 'WOLFPACK' CRAZY NEXT WEEK!

The Tournament Capital of Canada could be awash in orange black and WolfPack Logos.  Kamloops City Council has proclaimed  February 25-March 2nd to be “TRU WolfPack week”.  

Mayor Terry Lake endorsed the proclaimation at Councils last meeting (Feb 19, 2008).  The move coincides with the WolfPack making their first ever appearance in the CIS National Mens Volleyball Championships (Feb 29-March 2nd) in Laval Quebec.  It also goes hand in hand with TRU being represented by four players and their coach at the Canadian Colleges Athletic Association Badminton Championships. Those are being held the same time at Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick.

Residents of Kamloops are being urged to wear the team colors (orange and black) or articles of clothing with the WolfPack logo on it to show their support. You can pick up your WolfPack "gear" from the TRU Bookstore. Its located on the main level of the Campus Activity Center.  Hours of Operation are Monday-Thursday 8 am-5 pm and Friday from 10 am to 4 pm.
