  • Includes pitch and rhythm notation, keyboarding and quizzes

MUSIC 115  MUSIC APPRECIATION 1

  • For the non-music student or novice listener
  • For the music student who wishes a music history overview
  • Explore listening as an art form and engage your listening skills
  • Write concert reviews
  • Survey all styles including Western European and Non-Western World Music
  • Course work includes mid-term, final and assignments

MUSIC 170  CHORUS 1

  • For the instrumentalist or vocalist who can read music comfortably
  • Expand vocal strength and range
  • Performance-based content includes rehearsal and concerts
  • Performance-based final
  • May be used as large ensemble credit in a Bachelor of Music Program


All courses are 3 credits and university transferable.
