Psychology Lab

The Psychology Lab (AE 105) is available to all students working on Psychology assignments, or studying and reading Psychology course materials. Open Lab hours are scheduled around classes to give students a quiet area to complete their work.

In the lab you will find:

  • 20 Computers
  • The Biblio program is available on 10 computers in the lab, helping you easily write reference lists, bibliographies and outlines in APA style
  • SPSS program for statistics
  • A large table in the middle
  • Comfortable chairs!
  • A printer (please keep printing to about 10 pages per day, or one article a day)
  • Over 80 reference books available to borrow while in the lab
  • The Psychology Lab Demonstrator and Instructional Assistant are available during Open Lab hours to assist in any way possible

The Open Lab schedule is posted outside the lab and remains the same for the entire semester. During Exam time, the open lab hours are scheduled around major Psychology Exams to provide as much opportunity for its use as possible.

The Lab is also used for Departmental meetings, workshops and research. The lab can be booked for research for acceptable circumstances. Please contact the Psychology Lab Demonstrator or the Instructional Assistant with any questions at 828-5172.
