Service Learning 3000 is a 3-6 credit course which provides third- or fourth-year students with an opportunity to engage in a special academic project under the supervision of a faculty
member. Senior-level students share their knowledge and
skills with the community through approved community-based
projects. The Modern Languages version of SERV 3000 is called "Classroom and Cultural Facilitator". It allows native speakers to interact with second-language learners in our language classrooms, providing oral practice and native speaker perspectives under the supervision of the language instructor.
Interested students please contact the appropriate Modern Languages
faculty member or the Modern Languages Coordinator.
