Our History


The first language classes in our program were developed and taught in the 1970s at what was then Cariboo College.  Over the years, the program has survived difficult economic times and continues to expand and grow with Thompson Rivers University.

Sessional instructors have always been a mainstay of our program.  Though too numerous to list, they have allowed us to diversify our program offerings and continue to be a valuable part of our faculty.
