Talonbooks Canadian Studies 200 Best Essay Prize
Since the program's inception, Talonbooks, a respected independent publisher with an important history in Canadian publishing, has awarded a book prize for the best essay in Canadian Studies 200.
Selection is done by Canadian Studies faculty.

Kamloops Council of Canadians Canadian Studies Award
Beginning in the 2003/04 academic year, the Council of Canadians awarded annually a cash prize to the most deserving student with a concentration in Canadian Studies. Selection for the Kamloops Council of Canadians Canadian Studies Award is done by Canadian Studies faculty and based on a combination of GPA (with an emphasis on CNST course grades), student need, and student extra-curricular contributions.
